As CFO, Craig oversees the finances for Cutitronics and ensures we have the best financial information required to grow and develop our business and keep our shareholders happy too.
Craig is an experienced Scottish Chartered Accountant and has worked in Private Equity, Venture Capital, Corporate Finance and Industrial Financial Management roles. He runs his own business management consultancy and provides a range of strategic, management and financial support to a wide variety of clients.
Craig was highly involved with the University of Strathclyde where he worked with a number of early-stage companies driving their strategic direction, finance raising and overall financial management. It was this involvement that lead to him joining the Cutitronics team, playing an active role in the “spin-out” process from Strathclyde. In 2014, he was recognised for his work with the University winning the coveted Enterprise Partner Award.
Craig’s other clients range from start-up University “spin-outs”, to small and medium-sized businesses with turnover ranging from low millions to tens of millions. Much of Craig’s work in recent years has seen him supporting companies experiencing significant growth; assisting them with the strategic, financial and management challenges they face, including dealing with banks, shareholders and other funders.
