Cutitronics is delighted to confirm a new and exciting partnership with Hebridean Spa, trading as ishga.
The Isle of Lewis company specialising in luxury organic skincare product is being supported by Highlands & Islands Enterprise (HIE) to develop a ground-breaking digital device to monitor skin health.
The 12-month project is being undertaken in collaboration with Cutitronics who have developed the technology on which this device will be based. The device will assess skin hydration and intelligently guide regimens and suggest products via an associated app, giving customers access to a smart and tailored skincare plan – based on ishga products – that updates as their skin changes.
This R&D forms an important part of the company’s 3 year plan for capacity expansion and entering new markets, and, crucially, will enable them to respond to the increased demand from consumers for contactless solutions in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Cutitronics Commercial Director, Wilma McDaniel, commented:
“We are delighted to be collaborating with the brilliant team at ishga over the next 12 months. We are so looking forward to all that’s to come in this exciting project.”
